Using Budget
Maintenance
Log on to the program using the same username,
password, database name and server name that you use to log on to Dream.

The main program screen looks like this:
The menu structure is as follows:
 | File: allows access to the two spreadsheet
screens, the licence number screen, options to change database and (if
applicable) to change company, and to quit. |
| Tools: Allows access to the options and configuration
screens. |
| Window: Provides the usual multi-screen
application options. Since the DUG Utilities program only contains budget
maintenance at present this doesn't do much. |
| Help: Provides access to this help system and
gives an update on support availability. |
The status bar at the base of the screen shows
your connection details, but you shouldn't see the 'Mode' setting.
Limitations
| The program at the present time only supports
Dream 3.1, 3.2 and 3.3 on Microsoft SQL Server |
| The program doesn't yet upload a second ledger
budget |
| The program only allows you to upload budgets
a year at a time |
| The posting options are at present hard-coded |
| The program only posts budgets by deleting
the existing budget document(s) for a nominal/account/period and posting a new
document |
